Selling to the State of Arizona

Vendor registration, procurement portals, and key resources

This guide covers vendor registration, procurement portals, and key resources for selling products and services to the State of Arizona.

Vendor Registration

Arizona uses Arizona Procurement Portal (APP) for vendor registration and procurement. To do business with the state, you must register as a vendor through their portal.

Finding Bid Opportunities

Active solicitations, RFPs, and bid opportunities are posted on the state’s eProcurement platform:

What You Will Need to Register

  • FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) — your business tax ID. Learn more about FEIN/EIN
  • UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) — obtained through SAM.gov. Learn more about UEI
  • CAGE Code — assigned when you register in SAM.gov. Learn more about CAGE codes
  • Business legal name, address, phone, email, and authorized contacts
  • Commodity/service codes — used to match your business with relevant bid opportunities

Small Business & Minority Programs

Arizona offers programs to assist small, minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses in competing for government contracts.

Additional Information

Suppliers MUST complete Part 1 and 2 of registration in order to participate in solicitations. SPO provides training, Quick Reference Guides, and Microlearning resources to help suppliers navigate the system.
