Vendor Registration
Hawaii uses HIePRO (Hawaii electronic Procurement) for vendor registration and procurement. To do business with the state, you must register as a vendor through their portal.

Finding Bid Opportunities
Active solicitations, RFPs, and bid opportunities are posted on the state’s eProcurement platform:
- Hawaii eProcurement / Bid Portal — browse and respond to current solicitations
What You Will Need to Register
- FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) — your business tax ID. Learn more about FEIN/EIN
- UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) — obtained through SAM.gov. Learn more about UEI
- CAGE Code — assigned when you register in SAM.gov. Learn more about CAGE codes
- Business legal name, address, phone, email, and authorized contacts
- Commodity/service codes — used to match your business with relevant bid opportunities

Hawaii uses HIePRO hosted by Tyler Hawaii for vendor registration and eProcurement. Awards and notices are also posted via HANDS (Hawaii Awards and Notices Data System). Hawaii has a Products Preference program for locally produced goods.
