Vendor Registration
Maryland uses eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) for vendor registration and procurement. To do business with the state, you must register as a vendor through their portal.

Finding Bid Opportunities
Active solicitations, RFPs, and bid opportunities are posted on the state’s eProcurement platform:

What You Will Need to Register
- FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) — your business tax ID. Learn more about FEIN/EIN
- UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) — obtained through SAM.gov. Learn more about UEI
- CAGE Code — assigned when you register in SAM.gov. Learn more about CAGE codes
- Business legal name, address, phone, email, and authorized contacts
- Commodity/service codes — used to match your business with relevant bid opportunities

Additional Information
Maryland uses eMMA as its centralized procurement platform. The Governor’s Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Affairs (GOSBA) supports diverse businesses.
